Palestinian incitement continues: Jews prepare to ‘storm’ the Al Aqsa mosque and ‘raid’ Joseph’s tomb

By Missing Peace

Two fresh examples of Palestinian incitement against Israel which appeared in Palestinian media today Thursday November 21 2013.
Below these reports you will be able to read the facts.

Example 1 taken from Safa News:

Settlers raid Joseph’s Tomb under heavy military protection
Dozens of settlers raided “Joseph’s Tomb”, east of the town of Nablus in the northern West Bank, early today, to perform prayers and Jewish rituals, under heavy protection of Israeli occupation forces. Local sources said that several buses transported settlers to the area, amid heavy military escort.

Example 2 from Al Hayat Al-Jadida:
Jewish preparation to storm Al-Aqsa on 28th of this month; and intensive steps to Judaize Jerusalem
Jews prepare to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on 28th of this month for the occasion of Hebrew “Hanoka”, multiple organizations, including the alleged Temple organization, issued statements calling for collective break-ins to Al-Aqsa in “Hanoka”, while the Israeli Government allocated tens of millions of shekels for Judaization and construction in occupied Jerusalem. According to Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf  heritage, the occupation intensifies construction the Judaization in the vicinity of Al Aqsa Mosque and allocates huge budgets for this aim, the Foundation said that the Ministry of finance allocated additional budget to accelerate Judaization operations, the Ministry of finance submitted a request to the Knesset economy Committee to add 6 million shekels to accelerate the development of projects in the area of the Moroccans’ gate (Bab AL-Magharebah), Al-Boraq yard and in  digging tunnels, in addition to increasing the number of visitors to these sites, as well as the request to increase the budget to 150 million shekels for Judaization in Jerusalem. Israeli Interior Minister Gideon sa’ar said he would not freeze steps related to the so-called “National Park” plan near the town of Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem. Sa’ar, who was speaking in response to a question in the Knesset, said that the garden plans are expected to be completed during a month and a half. (Al-Hayat Al-Jadida).

The facts are that there is an agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority that allows Jews who want to pray at Joseph’s tomb to do so. The agreement is part of the Oslo accords.

Unfortunately it were the Palestinians who have breached this agreement and who desecrated Joseph’s tomb repeatedly ever since then. Jews who went to pray at the tomb were also repeatedly attacked and that’s why the IDF has to protect them ‘heavily’.

In case of the Al Aqsa mosque, incitement by Palestinian media and PA officials against Israel is a daily occurrence.

There is no preparation to ‘storm’ the mosque but the PA uses the mosque to mobilize the Arab masses against Israel. This was also the case on the eve o the Second Intifada when PA officials allowed Ariel Sharon (agreement between Jibril Rajoub and the Israeli FM Shlomo Ben Ami) to visit the Temple Mount and then used the visit to mobilize the Palestinian street and to launch the Second Intiada.

The projects which allegedly’ judaize’ Jerusalem that are mentioned in the Al-Hayat report are in fact projects that preserve the Jewish holy places the city. For example the Al Boraq yard that is mentioned in the article is the Wailing Wall square. Wasn’t the Wailing Wall the western wall of the Jewish Temple that was destroyed by the Romans hundreds of years before the invention of Islam?
